The HR department consists of 11 people and has a strategic and operational responsibility to support managers and operations in matters related to personnel, work environment, and organization. The department provides advice on labor law issues, manages agreements, and collaborates with trade unions. Additionally, HR is responsible for personnel and payroll administration in accordance with the requirements placed on a government agency. The role also includes further developing BTH as an attractive employer. This encompasses the entire recruitment process, including the introduction of new employees and support for international recruitments. The HR department coordinates and drives systematic work environment efforts as well as work on gender equality and equal opportunities. We are now looking for an HR partner for our operations.

Job Description

As an HR partner, you will provide advisory support to the head and managers in the entire HR area. You will advise on personnel issues and handle recruitment, work environment, rehabilitation, labor law, and ongoing personnel administration. The role combines operational work with strategic initiatives in close collaboration with an engaged HR team.

Our operations attract employees from different parts of the world. The diversity that international colleagues bring enriches both our work environment and our competence base. Therefore, it is important for us to offer professional, accessible, and individualized support throughout the recruitment process. In this work, you will have a particular responsibility to provide qualitative support for introductions, with a special focus on the needs of international employees. This may include practical issues related to relocation and guidance regarding moving and settling.

In addition to the operational HR work, there are opportunities to participate in HR projects and development work, including within Employer Branding. There may also be an opportunity to join a joint HR network for higher education institutions in Europe, EURAXESS, focusing on international recruitment, mobility, and knowledge exchange.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree in HR or equivalent. You should have experience working in a supportive role for managers in the HR field. You must have excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Additional language skills are an advantage.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities. We are looking for someone who is responsible, curious about other people, and has a genuine interest in development, both in your own work and in the organization as a whole. You have good collaboration skills, are structured, and find it easy to build trusting relationships. You enjoy combining operational and administrative tasks with an advisory approach.
